Insured Patients

Dr Griffiths welcomes patients with insurance and those who choose to self-pay. Insurance can be used all the clinics listed above except The Derm Rooms which currently accepts self-pay patients and patients with Bupa insurance only. International patients should contact the Royal Free Hospital Private Patients Unit to make an appointment.

Insured patients will need a referral from their GP. We will write to your GP following your consultation and you will receive a copy of this letter. You will also need to seek funding authorisation from your health insurer for an outpatient consultation. Dr Griffiths is a registered provider for most major health insurance companies, including:

Self-pay Patients

Dr Griffiths welcomes patients with insurance and those who choose to self-pay. Insurance can be used all the clinics listed above except The Derm Rooms which currently accepts Bupa patients and self pay patients only. International patients should contact the Royal Free Hospital Private Patients Unit to make an appointment.

Patients who choose to self-pay do not require a GP referral, although it is preferable to have one. We will write to your GP following your consultation and you will receive a copy of this letter.

The clinic will be able to advise current fees. If any further investigations or procedures are recommended they will be discussed with you at the time of consultation.
